Two arrested for possessing 1,117.5 grams of suspected cocaine valued at $161,000

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two persons for possessing 1,117.5 grams of suspected cocaine, 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 4 crack pipes.

Joshua Ian Cline, age 47, and Gennifer Mae Frost, age 39, both of Cumberland, Maryland face charges of Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) possession of paraphernalia, CDS – drug kingpin, CDS – possession of a large amount, CDS – possession with intent to distribute narcotics and CDS – possession not cannabis.

Cline has an additional charge of making a false statement to a police officer.

The deputy was on routine patrol in the area of 70 westbound and the New Market exit. The deputy conducted a routine traffic stop on a black Dodge Avenger and based on certain factors gained during the stop, a request for K-9 support was made.

The K-9, Jax made a positive alert on the vehicle. Additional deputies, now on scene, conducted a systematic search of the vehicle and found.
